Serbia versus Wales, The Build Up.

In preparation for this weekend’s crucial fixture, Y Ddraig will be publishing a number of different articles in this upcoming week to get you in the mood for the big game in Belgrade.

Some of these pieces include a prediction piece from various writers from other sites and podcasts as well as Y Ddraig on their thoughts on the game and predicted scores. Also an analysis piece looking at a potential change of formation in the starting Welsh line-up to compensate for the losses of Gareth Bale and Neil Taylor, who will be brought in to replace these key players?

We will also be looking at the opposition, their current side as well as a history of Serbia as a reasonably new football nation. Also, will include predictions and analysis from Serbian journalists and fans getting their view on this crucial qualifier.

For those of you who may have missed it, this is the squad named by Chris Coleman today:

Wayne Hennessey
Danny Ward
Owain Fon Williams

Ashley Williams
Chris Gunter
James Chester
Ben Davies
Jazz Richards
Joe Walsh
Tom Lockyer
Gethin Jones

Aaron Ramsey
Joe Ledley
Emyr Huws
David Edwards
Joe Allen
Lee Evans
Harry Wilson

Tom Lawrence
Hal Robson-Kanu
Sam Vokes
Tom Bradshaw
Ben Woodburn

So there we have it the squad entrusted by Chris Coleman to get a positive result in Belgrade. Wales unbeaten in this campaign to date, with 7 points after 1 win and 4 draws lie currently in the third spot behind group leaders Ireland and opponents on Sunday, Serbia who both top the table on 11 points. Ireland are at home to Austria in an earlier kick off on Sunday, so could be a situation before Wales even kick off that Ireland could have stretched the gap to 7 points, so no doubt Wales need to get a positive result on Sunday and what will be a very difficult match against a very talented Serbian side.

We hope you enjoy the upcoming articles on the various sites we have and please make your friends aware of the sites we have. We look to forward to sharing our and others views and please get in touch to share your own views on the upcoming encounter.
